Chaplain
Chaplain Anthony Dye graduated from
Towns County High School in 1979.
He went on to obtain a degree in
Machine Tool Design from North
Georgia Technical College, an
Associate Degree in Biblical Education
from Gwinnett Hall Bible College, as
well as a Bachelor of Theology from
Andersonville Theological Seminary.
Chaplain Dye is a Georgia P.O.S.T.
certified chaplain, having obtained his
certification through the Georgia
Sheriffs’ Association Chaplaincy
program.
He has served in the pastorate since
1984 and is currently serving as pastor
of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in
Hiawassee, GA, where he is in his 13th
year as pastor.
He and his wife of 31 years, Phoebe,
have also served as missionaries to
Mexico. They have three grown
children and one grandson.
