Chaplain
Sheriff Clinton is proud to announce
Towns County Sheriff's Office's first
chaplain, Pastor Darryl Dale.
Pastor Dale's formal education
includes two Associates degrees from
Gainesville College, one of which is in
Criminal Justice. Pastor Dale also
attended Mercer University. He spent
six years in the Navy and is a
volunteer in Disaster Relief with the
Georgia Baptist Convention as a HAM
radio operator. Pastor Dale is also a
volunteer in CERT, Community
Emergency Response Team, in Hall
County. Ordained into the ministry in
1972, he has been a pastor for 36 years
and has been pastor at Woods Grove
Baptist Church in Hiawassee, GA for
the past three years.
Pastor Dale and his wife, Maurice, will
be married 48 years in August, 2008.
They have two sons, six grandchildren
& one great-grandson.
